A few days ago, I managed to sneak back to Elite Aerial Arts for a quick conditioning to begin my training before I start teaching again.
How was it? It was difficult and a bit frustrating. Inverts were heavy, lines weren't as straight as they used to. In short, not everything was on point. What I once thought to be a seamless comeback to teaching turned out to be a herculean task.
How could it be easy when I gained weight, had weakened muscles, and low energy levels due to exhaustion and lack of sleep? These are the factors I'll just have to deal with.
But mind you, that doesn't change the fact that my baby is still my top priority. The point that I'm driving at is that I could still be a mother while at the same maintain my commitment to stay healthy and fit.
It's going to be difficult but it is doable. I'm very positive on this because I'm lucky to have a husband who is supportive in all of my endeavors. It means a lot to have a partner in life who gives me room to grow and nurture my potential. Not only that, I also have friends who motivate and join me in my comeback. With the current weather these past few days, having a training buddy is one way of ensuring that fatigue or laziness won't get the best of me.
Walk with me on my journey back to my old physique. From time to time I'll write about my updates. Slow and steady wins the race. As the saying goes,
"Rome wasn't built in a day."
